it is growing on me. I have made a pot every morning for the last four days. I really didn't like it on Day #1. On Day #2, I made it a little stronger (i.e., more grounds for same amount of water). Better flavor then, not just stronger tasting. Each of the two days after that, I liked it more (am enjoying a cup as I write this review). As a reference point, though, I think I prefer Eight O'Clock vanilla flavored coffee. I know it's not mocha flavored, like this one, but the overall aroma and taste are similar.

About measuring, for Starbucks ground coffees (btw, my favorite is Willow Blonde), I use 1 coffee scoop (2T) for each cup as measured on the coffee carafe. If you follow Starbucks' directions, you will use about twice as much coffee per same amount of water as I do. Waaay too strong for most anyone, imo. Still, with this coffee, I use just a little more than my normal "recipe," (can't tell you exactly how much, I just guestimate, but probably about 1-2T more for a 6-cup pot). And you could use a little more, if you like your coffee strong.

Fwiw, I am using a 12-cup Cuisinart drip coffee maker, purchased on Amazon, which certainly gives this coffee a nice chance at being good in the first place. I am also using bottled water, as the tap water in our beach town is marginal at best.

I do like the very subtle aroma, and am really beginning to enjoy the flavor as well.
