I did not expect to be purchasing espresso for a coffee maker when buying this product. I want to say that off the bat. What I was expecting was a good strong cup of coffee that if brewed on the 4oz - 8oz setting at strong this would be a passable cup of kick you in the butt coffee to get you going in the morning. I would say that is exactly what this coffee is. The flavor is very deep and robust while not tasting too bitter or chalky. I highly recommend that if someone is looking for espresso they not buy a coffee machine they buy an espresso machine. However if you want a deep dark rich blend of coffee that has espresso like qualities this is EXACTLY the product for you! The only reason I am not giving this review a 5 star rating is because for an Espresso Roast of coffee I had assumed the cups would be, and should be, the large sort for travel mugs and not the regular size. When making my purchase I did not realize the 16 count cups are always the regular size cups or I might not have even made the purchase. I however am very glad I purchased this coffee blend and intend to buy it again in the future. I am very happy with it. My husband and I both love dark roast coffee and espresso roast coffee as well as actual espresso. Consider this a 4 star great rating from two people and not just one.
