These Melitta No. 4 Cone Coffee Filters with Flavor Enhancing Micro Performations really do seem to brew better tasting coffee.

The package states, "thicker paper," and indeed, even when going by the SCAA (Specialty Coffee Association of America's) guidelines of 7 to 9 grams of coffee per ounce, this filter did not come close to tearing.

They look noticeably different, with small microperforations around the entire filter. They are environmentally friendly as they are 100% chlorine-free. They have a double-crimped edge: don't forget to fold the side and bottom edges for proper placement in your filter basket (see the box for instructions).
