I bought this French Press a few weeks ago, partly because I can't resist anything small and cute :) Seriously though, I'd been using a larger one from a popular swedish furniture store for about a year. But I only made half a caraffe full, so this one seemed like a good idea. I make one cup of coffee at a time (I'm the only coffee drinker) and this makes a perfect amount for one large mug plus a little milk. It's not 3 servings, but generally one "cup" of coffee is understood to be 4 or 6 ounces, not an actual 8 ounce cup.

I can feel the quality difference between this one and my $15 press from the aforementioned furniture store. Easy to clean, cute, and makes great coffee :) Perfect for me!

This is a attractive, good quality tea infuser. I give it 4 stars instead of 5 because the product description is unclear. The description says "3-3/4-Inch Diameter" which must refer to green, unfinished (like lumber), because I could not relate that to any measurment on the infuser. The Product Dimentions list 4x3x3". By my measurements the top does span 4" x 3", while the inner diameter is about 2.5 tapering to less than 2". The depth (into the cup) is right at 2.5". This would be fine for a regular size mug, but marginal for oversize vessels. Great for standard mugs. For larger or wide mouth cups you'll be better served with the Finum Large Basket which is wider and deeper.

My-Kap Reusable 9 Piece Cap Set for K-Cups with Brush Review

The caps fit certain pod brands better than others. For example, I have found the CoffeePeople pods work great with the caps, but Green Mountain pods do not, the fit is a little too tight to secure the cap sufficiently. A secure cap is important, especially if you store multiple pods for later use. It is too easy to tip one over and have the contents go everywhere. An unsecured cap will also create a mess when you put the pod into your coffee maker.

I am very happy otherwise with the caps, especially if you prefer a fine grind of coffee. Two problems noted with the competing Keurig My K-Cup Reusable Coffee Filter is that you should use a course grind and that the resulting coffee quality is not as good as that from a finer grind or using an enclosed filter. The My-Kap allows you to overcome both of these problems. I am going to try another competing product, EZ-Cup By Perfect Pod for Keurig Coffee Machines and will report my results.

You can use a different color cover to identify decaf, tea, etc. Another tip is to rip-out the paper filter from a pod and throw-in a teabag enclosed with a My-Kap. I would also recommend a pod carousel to store the pods, as stacking them risks the pods falling over and contents spilling if the caps aren't tight enough. One last tip is that I normally try to align the hole in the bottom of the pod with the dash in the middle of the "My-Kap" logo on the cap so that I can easily align the hole in my coffeemaker and don't have to punch new holes every time I reuse a pod.
